Children know their is a white elephant in the room when they have lost a parent physically or if the parent is their and not available..children need for their parents to be present and just with them is enough, it has been important to speak about the absence of a parent and the feeling attached to that for kids to be sad and talk about how that is from their view point...sometimes it good to reflect on our feelings that we still carry from childhood because of these such things and learn to sit in these once unbearable feelings if not the repercussions are we are not present and available in the moment..throwing the guns down of drug use, shutting out, anxiety and control can only be done when we finally stop delaying being present. and shut the backdoor to toxic options my hope for all is this is before death comes upon us or we are separated from our most precious gifts our children and our intimate relationships
Fathers son talks to him on the phone, little boy goes were are you Daddy? they have a conversation, mother asks how was talking to daddy son? Boy goes guess what daddy said, guess what i got in my car? Daddy says Lollies? Mothers asks how did that make you feel son?...Boy responses sad mum he could have said he had angels around his car or on his car, I would have liked that! but no still got demons in his car and around his car.
Little Girl tells mummy "dads eating old fruit from bad tree"
brother and sister sitting in bed with their parent watching a movie and are aware somethings missing we need dad here to squash us in...
"Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, "'From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise'?"
Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. 4Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. 5Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
